I've painted the camouflage now. It was brush painted.

Now moving on to the mottling on the sides. I've been researching this and will be stippling using a cut off brush. I've never done this before so here's hoping it turns out okay.

And no idea why I've removed the canopy mask as I need to apply a few clear coats later. Oh well.

Mike, good luck with the mottling, I too had not tried it before, but have done mine using a trimmed brush and a dabbing motion, and I can live with the result.

Looking good. Those spinner spiral things are a pain. A mottle camo with a brush is a tricky one. Looks like you did well.

Mottling looks great. I used the same technique on my German Halftrack build, with a cut down brush, but went a bit too heavy with it. Yours is much lighter so looks much nicer.... 8-)

Very effective finish You've achieved there Mike.

Looking at the box art I would say you pretty much nailed that Mike. Great job.

I've finally finished the decals. They went down well with only a few dramas.

I've managed to lose one of the tiny stencil decals but no one will notice that one. I also managed to destroy one of the crosses on the fuselage. I applied Micro Sol and accidently touched the decal before it had dried, leaving a sodden gunky mess on my finger. The decal was beyond repair but luckily I had spares. So next step is to give another gloss coat then start on washes and weathering.
