I normally use revell paints but as my lms didn't have the colour I wanted I went for the vallejo equivalent. I have never used vallejo before. I am impressed with the coverage and lack of brushmarks. I shall have to get some more for the paint box.

are you talking vallejo air or vallejo model?

ive always forunf them both great for brushing as well as air brushing

I like them as well use them quite a lot too

Thanks Paul. I haven't tried that. I've found the Model Air sprays nicely but it's a bit fragile.

Vellejo is the only paint i use mainly model air for airbrushing model color for brush work, i always prime with the gray primer unless i'm using Vellejo metal paints in which case i use the black gloss primer as recommended.
I have had no issues with Vellejo products at all and have become so used to them mixing thinning etc is now second nature but each to there own, we all have our favourits.

Steve.

I've used Model Air straight from the bottle. I did find the Vallejo primer needed a drop of water added.

I use it straight from the bottle. About 3 coats gives a good finish.
