Sort of tempted to get the full set, I imagine dark dirt being the most useful so duplicating that wouldn't be a hardship.

I would recommend an enamel wash, as from AKI or MiG. A medium or dark brown wash is ideal, not black. A light grey works well over a black base colour too.
The difference is that a Flory Wash, might be described as a sludge wash and the difference is in application and cleaning off the surplus.
The sludge washes are applied all over the glossed surface and then the surplus is removed with a lint free cloth wiped in the direction of airflow. These are very good and work well but I prefer the alternative as there is less wastage and are more controlled.
The AKI and MiG washes are finer and flow better direct into panel lines applied with a long thin brush. There is less surplus, just blobs where you touch the panel. In some places where the wash won’t flow for some reason I will run the brush along the panel line creating more surplus.
Removal of surplus is easier as there is less material to remove. Simply get a cotton bud and wipe the surplus off in the direction of airflow. Do not use thinner on the cotton bud as it will remove it from the shallower panels. A dry cotton bud will work fine. Incidentally a gloss surface is best for this as well.
