What flew over your house (yesterday)

I’m no good with recognising planes, I’m sure someone will tell me what it is, we get these flying above all the time, picture not brilliant, a bit high and fast, even though I had a 720mm lens on

That was going to be my guess as well.
Got this noisy little so and so. 
Its a long way from home, we are about 20 miles north of York, RAF Leeming isn’t far from us, these fly round here a lot, there was 2 this morning but the other was quicker than me getting out of my chair :smiling5:

COR Peter you dont know how lucky you are as when RAF COLTISHALL was open an goin we'd have the lightnigs an jags flyin nr all the while night flyin as well an now they have gone dont half miss them

Speaking of F-15's we don't ever get these here at all but just the other day two flew over with two F-16's from the Singapore Airforce. It was a flypast for a joint exercise I think which included F-18's from the Australian Airforce and our own SU-30's and Hawks.
I was more interested in watching Dune and trying to listen over the noise of the jet roars.

It’s a hawk of the accipitridae group Richard.
Easy for you to say.
We have several species around the city, mostly downtown, but the little birds gang up on them if they come too close to our neighborhood. A couple families of eagle nest over by the river, but we seldom see them unless we go to the riverside.
Not really, and it was a real beast to type out as well….the spillchucker threw a fit…..
