What flew over your house (yesterday)

Over the past week we've had a Chinook which almost landed in the local park it was that low, seriously, you could see the guy hanging out the rear door!

Then I believe it was a Merlin flying about 2000ft up over the town.

Wonder if their exercising for the Olympics?

XB-70 flew over today it was incredibly loud and shook the windows a bit! ;)

That looks fantastic Trey, very convincing I had to take a second glance. Well done.

Trey, brilliant photo! Colin gave you the best feedback you could ever get, that it looks real.

Quite right Joe!Thanks everyone glad ya got a kick out of it,just could'nt resist myself lol;)

This is what flew over this afternoon whilst I was in the garden!!

Honestly not photoshopped, they were on their way to the Queens birthday flypast.

Hope the picture comes out OK as taken on the phone.

Atb, Colin.

Trey, that's great. I thought they'd dusted off the survivor in the Air Force museum and given you a special fly by :)

Cheers

Crickey Chris.. My Spitfire sighting seems a bit insignificant against that list. However it was the first time I have seen a Spitfire actually in flight so it will always be special. I cant believe how loud it sounded even when it was miles away.

Thats a VERY nice list chris!! You jammy git , fancy living next door to Duxford!! Well my poor report is an Emirates Airbus A 380 flew over on thursday , all 800 tons of it!!!(it looks so big and seems so slow ,its scary how it stays up there!!) and talk about co-incidence , just as I started typing this I heard an aircraft , so dashed outside thinking it might be something coming or going to the Waddington airshow which is on today . It turned out to be a Britten Norman Islander, not an airshow participant but an interesting spot nevertheless, cheers tony

I must admit it was one hell of a line up and I'm very lucky to live where I do. If it wasn't for moving here five years ago I may never have gotten back into modelling. I'm also very please for you Hawker as seeing a spit is something all is enthusiasts must. If any of you haven't been to flying legends I highly recommend it.

Regards

Chris

Chris, I hope you took a camera with you..... Hint, hint!

If you look on the BBMF site you can see all the times the aircraft are flying near you,, Cosford and Stafford seem to be listed a few times outside show times.

Hoping to get down to Duxford in August I need some more ref pics :)

I did take the camera chaps, it's a bit naff but will post some once I've downloaded them.

Cheers

Chris
