Hi all , with the Thunderchief nearing completion and the polikarpovs done I want to get started on another build but having narrowed it down to three cant make up my mind . Theyre all equally interesting in their own way so I’m letting the collective decide . Which one gets your vote?
The choices are - AMT 1/48 f7 f-3 Tigercat , Arma hobby Hurricane mk1 tropical ( which will be done in the brown and green RAAF scheme) or the Arma hobby Fokker EV .
I’ll let this run for a week then the one with the most thumbs up will be done 5B5F3779-F504-4A7C-B6D5-C4993FFDA59B.jpeg06897AFD-C8DA-4A7E-9C1A-8F717632C969.jpeg

I’d go for the parasol EV, don’t see many of them built, and I have the Eduard one in the stash!

I think Tigercat. Don't recall ever seeing one built in any forum I've been on.

ATB.

Tigercat for sure. Purely selfish reasons though. I got one in the stash and hopefully, if the doc can find summat to help with my shakes next month, I'll be looking for a nice simple build to start with. This looks fairly simple without needing 83 colours and 23 rolls of masking tape to paint - and only a handful of decals instead of the usual 47 zillion which most 'planes need nowadays! I do have a couple of others in the stash which I'm considering though.

Edit. Just checked and found I have the 2/2N version. Is that going to be basically the same?

I'm in for the Tigercat too, Tony ; it is an unusual subject and the monochromatic livery is a challenge (for me, at least...) and like Dave, I must admit a drop of selfishness in my vote as I have an Italeri 1/48 P70 on the shelf, whose main aim is to become a testbed for my "all black" painting skills.

I think so dave , the same shape nose as the f-3 , i think it was on the later f3 nightfighters that the long droopy nose was introduced .

Hi Tony
All good choices but I would vote for the Tigercat because, as others have mentioned, I can't remember seeing one modelled.

Tony that little Fokker she is a dainty little dish. Needs care & attention & much love. So sweet ;)

Great markings & lots of detail you can get your hands into.

Gotta be the Tigercat for me.....
Not only have I not seen one done before, bit I just LOVE that colour scheme!! :)
