I was just wondering what other forums people use? I find this one very good and has some amazingly talented people involved! But I was wondering what else people use?

I've registered with most of them but this is the only one at the top of my bookmarks list though

Scale Models

Model Armour

Armorama

Aeroscale

Unofficial Airfix

Britmodeller

Zone five

Tanks and Things

MIG forum

eScale

Armour Workshop

Locate and Cement

Fine Scale Modeller

Plus all the model boat & figure painting ones

As far as modelling forums Britmodeller and Aeroscale I regularly check. There are others that I look at from time to timelike ARC. If you have an ANZAC related question Aussiemodeller would be a good port of call.

I'm also a member of a couple of rather more specialist Luftwaffe sites which are less modelling orientated, more historical.

Missing lynx, armour & afvs only but amazing quality! I'm still trying to improve before I post anything on there!

This one and The Unofficial Airfix Modellers' Forum • Index page.

Well Let me see.

Britmodeller, Kitmakers net Hyperscale, LSP are the ones I look in on from time to time. Modellingmadness is great for reviews.

Sounds corny but this is the only forum i'm a member of and its the only one i go on. I have been on other forums pages - if i google a particular kit or aircraft usually the results contain links to articles on other forums, from what ive seen ,modelling madness, hyperscale, and LSP seem quite good ,and ive found articles and reviews on these very useful. If im honest too, i only just find enough time to go on here nevermind anywhere else !! i'd never get anything finished!!! tony

For me its Scalemodels and F1M the latter being a motor racing modelling site which I go on maybe once a week if that , could not agree more Tony about the time , with work family and a bit of modelling time etc I don`t have enough hours in the day let alone sitting in front of a computer for hours on end , saying that I do try and pop in SM everyday to see what the guys are up to even if its only for 5 minutes .

Ditto, although i've also stumbled across the odd other forum page if looking for a particular topic, (initially) through a search engine, 99% of the time the info i need is here somewhere in the "archives".

Hello to all!

For me the only one is Scale Models!! When I decided to join in a forum of model-maker I visited the Spanish but none of them I like me... And accidentally I found this forum!! That luck!! I am also in the Club Land Rover for my interest in it (there is a small forum of miniature models). Living in the mountain I don't have Internet and always I write from the IPhone, and look for a PC in the library of the city to show photos of the made models, an ideal excuse not to search any more!!!

Regards

It's interesting reading and good to hear that some many people here spend most their time on this forum, too many forums are too in-personal, when I created this site I wanted it to turn out to be a friendly place for people to meet, which is what it has become, but that's not down to me, I only provided the platform for it the people here make it what it has become.

My main one is here (Scale-Models), but I also use one called Model Cars ( Model Cars Magazine Forum )...

It certainly is a very friendly site, I feel comfortable posting my models here and asking advice.

My main forums are this one and Britmodeller, but I do frequent the Unofficial Airfix Modellers forum (slightly less stuck up than the official one), plus I occasionally visit the official Airfix tribute forum , the Fanderson forum and occasionally Hyperscale, but I find Hyperscale incredibly difficult to navigate and usually give up in frustration very quickly :)

This forum was the first one I subscribed to when I came back to the hobby and I'd say I spend 40% of my forum time either here or in BM with 20% left for all the others...

This is the most friendly forum by far however!
