Hi Andrew. Yep, the armour was about five passes of various related colours. Took around four to five hours all told. Glad you like it though. Can only imagine that leather armour took some time as it turned out beautifully. Well done.

Thanks guys, haven't done any highlights yet just a thin see through based colour over grey primer then a few washes to darken them up.really enjoying experimenting, total see what people get out of painting figures:thumb2:Those “test” figures look really good Mark. The shading and highlights on the drapery is excellent. Well worth finishing now!
Oh....he's back....I hope you can get this one to the "paint" stage Sir!Love the Hetzer, one of my favs. Will follow along and see how it's done in Deutchland! :thumb2:

Dude 1 .This talk of a spending spree oh dear , good job you've just installed that new shelving. I new there was an motive behind this :smiling3:Hey Rick, it's great to be flying high again...It'll reach the spray booth because I am about to order a new one. The old cardboard box isn't cutting it anymore! It's done the same here as anywhere else Buddy. I had to make a few scratchies for it so I can finally get it together without going too crazy,

An etch guard for the sighting scope and new skirts too. Here's why,

The kit ones are way too thick for the Hetzer. I'll post a pic before she hits the booth next week when I get the new one. I've been on a spending spree too because the show in Holland, in October, has been cancelled again...................I'm having terrible Friul withdrawal symptoms!!!...............But found a cure.....................
Prost

Loving that Dan:thumb2:,I know this is all sorts of wrong on many levels but what the hey ?
Screwed the 88mm bogies on for convenience and then it kind of went from there...

A nice change, I must say I've been eyeing up a few resin figures after seeing the work of a few of the figure guys as well.Well,Here`s a broadside from me!!:dizzy:
I was getting a bit of "repetitive paint syndrome" going on recently, FAR too much GREEN being used!,(Sorry John!!),
SO,i decided to lighten things up a little,as well as changing to a different subject:thumb2: ,
COMPLETELY out of my comfort zone, but having seen Tim`s stuff recently,it`s certainly got my juices flowing......
..... my Daughter bought me these for last Christmas.... and i`ve wanted to try them ever since:smiling4:,I have absolutely no idea of how to go about them.... but here`s my progress so far.....
I don`t really know what i`m doing yet,so just having a go at one......
:rolling:
I`ve actually put some Blue down, and the base Tyre`s colours.... I thought i`d brush paint this,it`s gone kinda OK,but we`ll have to see!!
So then,All you proper Warhammer painters please accept my apologies, but it makes a pleasant change for me!!:rolling:
Andy..... (Helmet at the ready!!)
