What's on the bench 2022

Lol, well John, you are always up to something, despite your calm demeanor. Think of yourself as.... Colonel Hogan ala' Hogan's Heroes. And well, that makes the Naughty step your Stalag 13 :tongue-out2:

There are some Ron who may question " calm demeanor "
Yours Col Hogan :smiling3::thumb2:

Hey, as long as there are no matches or other indendiary devices involved, you seem calm as a cucumber to me. Sir. :tongue-out2:

just gotta wind 3mtrs of cord onto the second drum now:tired:
That’s why I put a piece of plastic tube around the winch on my M32B1, so it doesn’t need a scale length of thread on it :) You can still do that with yours, if you cut a bit of tube lengthwise into two so you can glue the sections around the drum.

That's a good idea jacko, one layer of thread will sit flatter as well rather than looking a bit bunched up in places

On the other hand, these winches didn’t have a mechanism to wind the cable neatly, so it did bunch up in places on the real thing … :)

A 106a delta dart,now has decals,got to somehow got mask a canopy that is almost void of any mould lines!20220717_220023.jpg20220717_215857.jpg

What's on the bench.....?

Mike.

Just musing - there's obviously some very wide definitions of talent and skill on this forum - we always seem to denigrate ourselves when (more often than not) our individual skills are worthy of comparison!

The Spit is progressing. Black primer from rattle can, aluminum coat by Tamiya over a first light coat of Steel by Vallejo, then the engine cowl partially painted with Tamiya Dark green. Dark grey will follow next time along with some retouching due to bad masking.IMG_0658.JPGIMG_0660.JPG

The level of details of that kit is amazing.
