What's on the Bench 2025

Base coat of metallic Dubonnet Red applied and pleased with the result so far. Couple of days curing then decals and 2k clearcoat before chrome trim etc.

You've brought it back very well.

Decals and 2k clear applied, some dirt inclusions and minor sinkage around the sunroof and bullet shield inserts to be flatted and polished when fully cured.
The boot handle/ no. plate light housing was provided as all chrome but should be 1/2 painted and badged as per the photo.
Front bumper finally modified and awaiting primer.

I haven't posted much lately, but I have been working. When the mojo wanes I revert to my WWII US Engineers. Some stuff on the bench.

.....as I enjoy yours.:D

Those living in the UK at the moment will know that there is a huge push on promoting our national flag and showing our patriotism for our country. This I think comes in the wake of a suggestion by some idiot that our national flag was considered offensive and racist. So I am getting a lot of pleasure in my latest build which seems very appropriate at this patriotic moment in our history, Revells 1/48 "Black Jack" Eurofighter which is a blaze with Union Jack colour.

20250824_090937.jpg Got some more of the DB5 done. Adding piping to the seats and door panels and completed the floor pan and running gear. Just dry fitted the unpolished body to check the stance - wheels just loosely fitted.
Being a snap together kit means if you paint the parts you have to open up all the holes otherwise things won't fit and/or pins break - ask me how I know. 20250824_090926.jpg Click image for larger version Name:	20250824_091955.jpg Views:	0 Size:	360.3 KB ID:	1265414 Click image for larger version Name:	20250828_140406.jpg Views:	0 Size:	460.4 KB ID:	1265415 Click image for larger version Name:	20250828_140349.jpg Views:	0 Size:	460.0 KB ID:	1265416 Click image for larger version Name:	20250828_151527.jpg Views:	0 Size:	359.9 KB ID:	1265417 Click image for larger version Name:	20250828_151502.jpg Views:	0 Size:	401.8 KB ID:	1265418
