Hope all went well Peter, My brother has had 3 hernia ops and has never looked back and all on the NHS lol

I'm needing one of those also so you will need to let me know how it all went. ;)
 
Good luck Peter. Although you wont need it as in my experience the NHS are very good. I need the same op myself.

Thanks all for you kind support I have just had my first eats and it was the best tasting pot noodle ever so I must be over the worst just the soreness of the wound so watch out work bench
 
Glad it went ok peter , my son had this op earlier this year , he had to take it very easy for at least six weeks , so that neans for you its no lifting big kits at the bench , its 1/144 or 1/72 only - doctors orders!!
 
Good to hear you are in recovery now Peter, take it easy and do as you are told ;)
 
Glad it all went well, you will just have to find light models to work on untill fully recovered
