Any body around Jersey on Thursday.

Display over ST Aubin's Bay starting with the B52. Tut all others land at Jersey Airport but not big enough to support the B52.

Wind in the right direction most go over our house low into the airport.

Over this small bay in St Aubin enclosed on 3 sides by land with a castle on a small island in the bay this I hope is going to be fantastic. First time for the Seafury.

Pictures Thursday from the airport. Lancaster Hurricane & Spit. Fingers crossed for the weather. Cancelled last year.

Yes a B52 but the airport is not long nenough for it to land. Just a fly past but hoping to get some pictures. Practical matters. If I can park any where near ST Aubins Bay.

I Just walked out of Southend Uniteds football ground and a white Catalina flew slowly over.A wonderful sight and totally unexpected.I think it's the one based at Duxford that i see parked there when I go to visit my parents in Royston.

Yesterday evening I heard a strange droning sound so dashed out into the garden and saw this:

                      Amazing!

there is a guy who plays with one of those things about 50 yards from where i work every saturday when the weather is good enough,i think he is bloody nuts but he seems to be enjoying himself.

                          Hey Jeff

That video was of three Vickers VC10s that carried out a retirement flypast at Brize Norton. Two C.1Ks and a K.3 toured several RAF bases to mark the end of the types usage in the transport role. You wont see that line up again.

Not yesterday but today I've had a Curtiss p-40f and a Spitfire MK XIV...... Nice! That griffon engine purred like a very happy cat. Unfortunately these practice flights mark the last airshow of the season here in Duxford as its the Autumn show tomorrow BOO HOO!

                            Regards

Just a few days ago I was surprised to see a graceful Dragon Lady - U2 - letting down from the west, presumably towards Fairford. I was about 4 miles north of Cheltenham. I didn't realise they are still using these old ladies - presumably they are now doing mainly atmospheric and environmental research. Anybody know what they're doing these days?

I heard the rumble of twin radials and ran out just in time to snap a quick shot then it flew back the other way and gave me a second photo op!
