Some years ago, I put together a couple of touchscreens hooked up to Raspberry Pis to show a browser with that site, and we installed them in two lighthouses that are open to the public so visitors can check what ships are sailing past.

I have refrained from posting anything on this thread, as you would all become very very bored, very very quickly.
I live on the flightpath of the Christchurch International airport on the South Island of New Zealand, and also on the flightpath of the civilian aerodrome about 10Km away.
So I have constant air traffic all day and night, mostly passenger jets and prop driven commercials, as well as a plethora of light aircraft following the river at the end of our road, as it is the designated flight path to the coast.
Then we are also on the flight route north for the rescue helicopters.
                    Nothing even remotely interesting unfortunately.
Strength isn't about what you can do, rather it's about overcoming what you thought you couldn't do.

Midday, the Somerset and Dorset Air Ambulance flew over before circling over Westcliffe. No pics, camera was in with a sleeping puppy and didn't dare disturb the she-devil. Appeared to make a landing on the West side of the Island above the 250 foot cliffs!! Went silent for a couple of hours before departing just before 2pm. Hope whoever or whatever wasn't too badly injured!!

Ha, yes Lee. Both worked on them and did my flying training in them. Loverly beast, never let you down. Thanks for the memories.

I used to watch the fly back and forth to the base, along with the wasps, sea Kings and lynx... back when I were a lad on the rock
