Edit - this from the review section " I received my four kits. A Tiger 1, a "Priest", a Sherman and a GMC "Tank Destroyer"..." If they haven't changed the selection that's some mighty fine kits, especially if you're into US armourComment

Thinking exactly the same. Four tanks or AFV's for £75 is a bargain!

Well i`ve been spoilt today!!
With my recent delve into models of a somewhat "Unusual" theme,(IE some Warhammer bikes),Rach decided to treat me to some Discworld figures and an additional Warhammer kit........
Lovin` the look of that:thumb2:..... and it`s got the 5 crew figures included!! Now something new for me...... White metal figures......
They`re nicely detailed, first up Sam Vimes,(Discworld`s Top Cop!!).......
"Cohan The Barbarian"............
..... and lastly "Death",with "Death of Rats".......
So that`s it,a nice variation from my usual War stuff, and i must say that i`m quite impatient to have a crack at them...... If only i had more time!!!
I`m guessing that the White metal figures require Super Glue of some description, and i`d be ok using my usual Humbrol Primer and various acrylic paints?!
Cheers for now,

Hi Andy. Clean up mould lines with the same tools you use on plastic….white metal isn‘t that much harder. Assemble with cyano (or five minute epoxy for joints that may take a lot of handling) and prime and paint as normal. For some reason I always find white metal paint up easier than plastic?
Some nice tips there mate..... all taken on board!

I would advise to clean the figures with a copper-wire brush before glueing, especially any areas that will be glued. If you don’t, chances are the bond will be weak because you’re not gluing metal to metal but two thin layers of gunk together, that are normally on metal castings.Comment

Not wanting to upset any of our valued members here, I have corrected my earlier purchase for Dude 2 with something in his interest,
Ok, so I ain't Rembrandt!!! Is that better Buddy??? In that post, I also mentioned I had made a super deal on something to go with the Bronco StuG I purchased. For €20 delivered, I got these,
Yup, all 3 of them. One normally sells for around €26 to €30 each. All were brand new too,
Could be a dio down the road somewhere in my retirement. I also fell upon this as I want to build my Bf. 110 as a nightfighter, but the resin conversion kit costs twice as much as I paid for the Revell/Dragon kit I have in the stash. So I snagged this up,
It was cheaper than the Revell kit too. It also has the 3 man crew and the molding of them isn't as bad as I thought. Looks like there is still no hope for me though.................................
