It was expensive, but it is a hardcover book of over 700 pages, approximately Letter-size (the American equivalent of A4, slightly shorter and wider). Second-hand prices for this book were even worse until the reprints came out in 2015 — €/$/£200+ was not unheard-of. (The Stuart book from the same series was the worst of all: a second-hand book store in my area had a copy that they wanted €450 for, maybe ten years ago. When I asked if that was right, the proprietor told me yes, that was about the going rate for it according to his research … Needless to say, I passed on it.)

I've had this as well - A large sheet folded into an A5 envelope. It's not necessarily lost! I took the folded part & separted it from it's neighbours. I taped the part to a flat surface. I then used a thin piece of cotton, dampened VERY lightly with water. This is placed over the bend. Very carefully run the tip of a hot iron over the damp cotton - this creates a little steam & will reduce the fold. Do this very gently, and in very short strokes, don't let the cotton move, as this may smear the finish on the veneer. I did this to recover an unusable part, so I didn't have anything to lose ( it was a 1/700 Bismarck deck ). It may take a few attempts & you may lose the glue on the back of the veneer, and need to attend to this. Good Luck!!

Took a bit longer that hoped. The shop 'sold out' so it was late being sent.

Yea, I'm getting lazy in my old age and these just seemed to fit the bill. I just have to decide which one to use for the Halberstadt...

I really fancy that Morris. Will follow closely when you start the build.

PJ Productions figure looks good..... I've used a couple of their 1/72 figures (Luftwaffe and RAF) one was much better than the other though
