    Right Tim.....I suspect that most of the Vallejo will be useful for my little guys and gals. I'll have to see what I can do with the rest of it.

      Get a wet palette to go with them (if you haven’t got one) and your acrylic painting will be transformed…..

            A large carton arrived by APC this morning . Much excitement was caused in the post room.

            Took some time to open carefully, 4 D Model Shop kindly let me add to the order when I realised I could get some other stock from them.

            Use this where there will be no scribing otherwise it would have been Kappa Board.

            Better than Balsa as it doesn't fluff up so much and less likely to snap .

            Nice size and will no doubt be cut down for something at some point.

            The large size of the XPS FOAM at 50mm thick will be cut into section for use as bases.


            Now going to have to find somewhere to store all this !:nerd:

                    Agree Dzohn, basswood way better. Only modeling wood I use besides Popcycle sticks.

                        Somewhere to store it ,my problem is Somewhere to hide it before the sgt major finds what I've been up to.

                                My haul for the past 2 days.The Afv club Mark V1 was bought from Modelsforsale at Billericay show yesterday to become a postwar Irish army version from 1950s.The Tamiya Mark 7 is from Hobbycraft in Norwich and im doing her as an Iraqi one from the 1950s.Also got a Dragon M4a4/Sherman V yesterday for a good price.Its Cyberhobby one with D.S tracks and U.S tank crew.
