So my entry into this first GB of 2026 will be the little six wheeled British ATMP (All Terrain Mobility Platform) vehicle.
This is a Gecko model in 1:35th scale complete with driver and fully loaded rear pallet.
I think (not 100% sure yet) that I might do a little diorama for this one, maybe a sandy landscape, say Afghanistan or similar?
Looks fairly detailed. I will put some sprue pics up in a bit, but for now here's the box art, etc....

Some small little photo etch bits, which scares the hell out of me, but hey, we'll give it a go....!

Dont stress..... Used to terrify me but sometimes i think a company will do pe just to complicate things since it would be just as good in plastic

If its a flat part use ca glue, no worries
If you have to do a little bit of bending there are ways of doing it without a bending tool....... But knowing what you are like it will give you an excuse to buy one lol.... Dead easy to use

Erm, too late, already bought one a while back, only used it once so far, so will give me another excuse to get it out... 8-)

Very interesting peter , a lot of parts for such a small subject .You’ll be fine with the photo etch , looks like its mainly flat grilles so hopefully not too much bending . Is it just me or is anybody else getting Banana Splits vibes ?

Little update....
Made a bit more progress on the main lower chassis, some more PE parts, rear light boxes, mudflaps, etc.

Started on the main chassis floor, lots of small holes to drill out.

Also made the pallet and the pallet load (ammo crates).
And made a start on a couple of figures that I am thinking of using in a small dio with this vehicle. A couple of British SF figures in Afghanistan.

It's a nice kit. I made a little diorama out of the "medic" version some time ago.
Folding the PE jerry can holders was a laugh 😂
