Evening all

There is nothing like a parcel being well packed ... and this one I received is nothing like a well packaged parcel. No joke, this is exactly how it came through my letter box!

Well, at least we all know where you live now:smiling2: I'd be having words with the vendor.

Never seen something like that before, looks like they ran out of cardboard : D...

Mike - Fortunately nothing was damaged. My worry is that I also bought an LMC from the same vendor - Amazon - and I received an email saying that kit was despatched before this one arrived. Fingers's crossed the LCM arrives ok.

Steven - I also have never seen anthign like this. - quite amazing. Just as well it was for me and not a present for anybody.

Good to hear but it's a bit worrying that the first one hasn't turned up. having said that, Amazon is usually good at refunding for missing items so you should get your money back if it doesn't turn up.

I would also complain to them about packaging. I have never had anything from them that has been less than excellently packed. This is nowhere near their expected standard.

Tim - I agree, in the past the problem has been too much packaging! or at least boxes which are far too big for the product.

Is it Amazon or a storefront selling via Amazon? ( fulfilled by amazon)

I have never had anything amazon sells not turn up in an outer package.
I bought my compressor from John via his store front there and it arrived well packaged.
Only stuff from small dealers has turned up in flimsy packaging.

According to the invoice the seller is: " Sold by Amazon EU S.à r.l., UK Branch VAT # GB727255821"

Yes , Amazon , they need a serious response to the ''how did we do '' email you get upon delivery
Usual complaints are packaging is too big for item.

They did this to me a couple of months back with a kit.....I was not happy:thinking:

It needs replacement wheels, though. The Italeri M113 kits are pretty good, but the wheels really let them down. (The tracks are on the thin side, but have good detail so I found them usable.)

Oh, wait, this is the 1/72 scale version … I thought it was in 1/35 :) In that case it needs inner roadwheels, as it only has the outer ones, but this isn’t all that noticeable because of the small scale.

Due to my recent craziness on evilbay with the want for cheapness in kits, I had no choice but to make another purchase. Ya Gotta put 'em somewhere and for €19,95, it should work out well…..

Maybe I should have bought 2...………………………….
