Spots on the Internet 2020

What I did was plan the cut carefully, then I sawed through the hull and turret parts while they were still unassembled, then built everything more or less as per normal inside them. I can dig it out and post some photos tomorrow.

Careful chaps, this thread is just for 'Spots on the Internet 2020'
Not a 'How to'
Can I respectfully suggest that you both exchange P.M.s or start a separate thread on the subject?

Thank you.

Sorry Ron. Just a very quick spur of the moment question,

Jack, no need to apologize.
It would just have meant the insertion of irrelevant stuff that would just have clogged the thread.

Thank you for your understanding.

Putting those photos into a separate thread was my idea all along, but I forgot to take them today and am busy tonight, so hopefully I’ll start one tomorrow :)

Afternoon

Noticed on Andys store on YouTube that Ryton are re-issuing both the Panther and StuG books, both out of print for ages.

I think July/August?

Afternoon Bob,
If I were you I have a look on the Panzerwrecks site as Lee has them at good prices, I would also look at the Tank museums on line shop.
regards Jim

Hi Jim

Thanks for the info, i sold my panther one a few months ago and no surprise i have the StuG one!

I asked Lee at Panzer wrecks and he thinks both books are just reprints, but i will wait and see.

Hi all

So one for you 'braille-scalers' out there. When John was fixing the picture post issue a week or so ago, he uploaded a picture that caught my interest as I've been looking for this sort of kit for a long time.

It was a 1/72 Comet from a company called Vespid Models (a new start up). As far as I'm aware it's the only plastic kit Comet at this scale (I know Revell do a Matchbox rebox in 1/76). Although it's not due for release until later this year, I see at least one UK retailer is taking pre-orders with a price tag of £19.99.

The sprue shots look like it could be a very nice kit. It also comes with a metal barrel and some PE. They're also doing a 1/72 Maus.
