Thank you young man.:smiling:. Once I get the roof on and the stove in I'm moving in.Cracking little building you`ve made yourself there John :thumb2: ,
The Tank looks suitably menacing trundling past such a picturesque scene.... gonna be good this!
Cheers,
Andy
Cheers PaulVery nicely done. PaulE
Richard, its a mk 32 Late Friday build.:smiling: I just could't fathom out instruction, some things are just beyond me :disappointed:, then get to the point were it just gets glued and covered with snow.John, I just saw the problem with your mantlet side fit...the part is suppose to slot into the inside of the cheek bulges.
Look at Jakkos reference...you've got it sticking out on the outside.
Intricate assemblies should be approached calmly, tested, dry fitted many times before gluing. I'm sure the same practise goes during work. :smiling2: Nothing to do with being a lefty but I can't help Andy from becoming a Yeti. :tears-of-joy: I like the way he said about everything is designed for the wrong handed people. :smiling6: I'm right handed and sometimes wished I was ambidextrous.
Cheers,
Richard
Nice progress John! :thumb2:
Thanks Andy, I did first reply but when I went to page 8 it disappeared.Nice work there John.
Andy.
Cheers Paul. Must finish the SU100 build before I do much more to this.John,
This is all coming together very nicely. I can see another magic building on the way.
Thanks Lee, nice to see you.Liking it John
I’m far from good at that … I’m always amazed at the kinds of photos some other people here post, that I would never have been able to findAlways amazes me how Jakko finds reference photos.
Hi John
Despite the problems this is coming on a treat. Always amazes me how Jakko finds reference photos. I posted a thread about ref photos a while ago and Jakko pointed me to some very useful search ideas. I'll bet if you asked if mice ever built their nests in King Tiger turrets he'd find a photo :tongue-out3:
Love your buildings. Making the window frames reminds me of how balsa aeroplanes are built onto a plan. That tip of putting PVA onto the base the help the Sculptamould stick is worth noting. I have some of that Sculptamould but yet to try it.
