My modelling mojo went about 4 weeks ago. It seems like it happens to most of us from time to time. Well tonight I returned to the bench and 3 hours just flew by. I have started on my Dambuster Lancaster that my wife got me for Christmas. Really enjoyed being back, just hope my mojo remains.

Yep, been there seen it, got the t-shirt.... You get the picture.

Anyway just to say welcome back. Is yours the Airfix or Revell one? A mate bought it for me last year's as a birthday present.

ATB.

It's the revell one. My 1st was the airfix one that I made on my return to modelling a few years ago. I then did a revell one but didn't turn out that well. Taking my time with this one, hoping to do a good job, fingers crossed.

Third time always is a positive finish, Paul. Interesting your return seems to always involve a Lancaster. I'll bet this time its going to be good with you enjoying the hobby at a steady pace and with the experience of the last few years.
I haven't built one since fourth grade. Have three in the stash...an old Revell, Matchbox and Hasegawa. One to convert to a Manchester, the other two a standard and Dam Buster version. All three have different degrees of molding and tooling as well as plastics.

Looking forward to your build and perhaps we could both slowly challenge ourselves, share ideas and make good of the kits we have.

Cheers,
Richard

Good to see you back at it. The chastise Lancaster will certainly give you enjoyment. Hope you can maintain the mojo...

Hi Paul

It's the Revell one my mate got me for my birthday. Let me know how it goes.

All the best.

Andrew

Paul,
it happens to all of us at one time or another! You know it's returned when you lose track of time!
I can honestly say I've never built a Lancaster, in 50+ years of modelmaking, and here you are on your third!
