These a just a couple I have pics. of......the other two are six footers and are getting full..........must be careful.
That's quite a collection there Rick, lucky for you they are 1/72.
I have built quite a few big dios over the decades and have re-cycled some bases for newer dios, some I've used a couple or three times.
Especially the smaller more non-descript ones. I do like to display any vehicles I build on some sort of base, even if it is just some flat ground.
When I do make that "special" one every now and then they do get a special spot for display. And are frequently and carefully cleaned.
Many, many vehicles and afv's have sunken into the abyss, even a few planes (WW2 era of course).
The scrap boxes are full so nothing goes to waste around here. I do have an attic and a full basement so room is not an issue.
The main problem at the moment is mojo level pretty low, I don't know, it's probably a combination of things
from being tired and old and in pain pretty much of the time, to a general low feeling about word affairs,
to being very busy with the wood business.
The Missus says " why don't you just relax this winter and paint the bedrooms" (4) "tile the guest bathroom floor" what? a four year old
carpet is no longer suitable for people I don't even want in ANY of our bathrooms! Well, maybe the one in the basement (next to the water heater.)
Believe it or not, I have made some significant progress (though not lately) on a very ambitious project for me anyway.
Based on figures (10 I think) mostly wounded....very difficult.
I became very frustrated with them and the hole layout and tossed them on a shelf, I hate figures and don't even know why I started it.
Started building a 'Staghound Mk1" a Tamiya Kit my wife found at a flea market for couple of bucks.
Am about halfway through that and got bored with it
Was I finished?
Jim.
