Scale Model Shop

Tora,Tora,Tora !! Andy's WWII Japanese Aircraft GB: Chat thread.

I've just looked over the instructions for my kit looking to see the paint callouts and 12 different marking options, and I have to chose twice...........I fear analasys paralasys might kick in.......
(Though I do have a kit with more options.)

I always open boxes when I get them as I was stuffed on the Mossie build when I opened it 3 months after purchase for the GB and found a sprue was missing. Airfix sorted it very quickly though.

... and we have the green light :smiling3:
So,ANY type of Japanese Aircraft that saw service in WW2,any scale, any brand... Simple as that ;)
I have a question...Any Japanese aircraft. As in Made in Japan or just in Japanese service....Asking for a friend.

Good question Ian.... and one that hadn't occurred to me!!....
..... Thinking on my feet though,Id say you can tell your "friend" that I was initially thinking of, Japanese as in,"of Japanese origin". ;)

Erm,is it just me?.... I don't get that ?!! :(
I didn't open the box, I looked at the destructions on-line......so neh.
Good answer Karl... But a risky method... I've been slightly caught out once or twice with eBay "wins" in the past!! ;)

That's only showing the kit you SHOULD HAVE though Chris...
Fine if it's from a reputable retailer, but not a dead cert if it's from a private ebayer
Totally agree Andy, but it's a good base point.

Tabby was the US code name for the Japanese licensed production of the Douglas DC-3............
