Scale Model Shop

Interesting trailer for film

I've seen it on the big screen a few weeks ago John, I liked it, some nice action scenes and it's all based on a true story. Cheers

Watched it the other day, very good, sad, but a nice account of a real hero.

Been on Prime for a while, I went to watch it but got side tracked, then tried watching it through the week but was abroad so couldn't and I couldn't be bothered with a VPN.
Watched Rings of Power instead....

They're still trying to get Jesse Browns remains back for a proper burial. Not easy with the situation between N Korea and the US. The movie CGI are far better than Battle of Midway in lighting, perspective but they could have weathered the carriers island a bit more...it's been sailing halfway cross the world.

Cheers,
Wabble

Saw this a couple of weeks ago, It's on netflix or amazon movies if I remember correctly, really enjoyed it, the CGI looks spot on and the story is well told..would recommend this to anybody wanting a decent film to watch on a sunday afternoon

Looks good John,
Our club is having a 75th Korean War Ceasefire build for our displays, this should be inspirational.

Got the book somewhere, but I’ve not yet got around to reading it……probably give it a look when it comes on TV.

A question, why engaging in combat w/drop tanks attached? Nice filming of aircraft though. Enjoyed the movie.

No, the ditching list included dropping them, and they did successfully for both planes as I remember it.

The Vought F4U corsair... loved the look of that plane for some reason. :smiling2:
had a 1/72 model years ago, and will be looking for a 1/24 after I've finished the aircraft I have.
