discussion 1/12th scale Kuton Figurines 'The Rocketeer'

So I dropped and broke this figure into numerous pieces as I was about to glue it to the base. I've stuck it back together again, but not touched up all the chipped paint - not sure it's worth the effort, but we'll see. Generally very pleased with the result (prior to breakage, that is).

Absolute work of art Paul. I am gutted for you that you damaged it as I can see the amount of time that you put into this. If its any consolation I cannot tell from the photos that it is damaged. Brilliant job.

Old scorched bum still looks great Paul. Can’t see much chipping to be honest, apart from the base of the helmet, and that just looks like wear and tear. I still think the eyes are exceptional ????

That's very kind, Tim. I'm particularly pleased with the face. Ive been building up to get good, smooth, pale skintones, and this was the best yet. I did overwork the paint on her left cheek a bit, and it went a little lumpy - lesson learned.

That looks fantastic to me! I can't find any apparent damage. As others have said, the chips on the Helmet just look like intent and the face is great. Those eyes. WOW
