A rather large decal sheet.

Typical Zvezda instructions although you do need to pay attention to the sub assemblies parts.

Looking forward to starting this one.

Those have to be the biggest decals I have ever seen!! Suspect they with be quite a challenge!

Save me a chair near the front guys, 'I'm just gonna slip out and lay some diversionary traps for Matron..'

oh and who's bringing the Hobnobs ?

Wow Andy, that's a lot of parts to play with. Don't think I've ever seen two-piece frame rails though. I think you will have fun building this and I'll follow along Sir. Anything with over 1000hp has to be cool!!!...

Not something I would ever pick out myself (along with most civilian vehicles I suppose) but will follow this with interest.

Made a start on the very well detailed engine, many small parts the need painting in a few colours so I may be some time.

I think I will enjoy building this model, plenty to hold my interest.

Spent a bit of time today painting and assembling the engine.

Needs a bit of a touch up here and there and the extension shaft with the fan on to be fitted when the engine gets fitted in the chassis. A lot of parts to be fitted to the chassis when joining the 2 halves are differerent colours so need to be painted separately before assembly as it would not be possible to paint otherwise. Surprisingly, it even has the Allison name moulded on the gearbox casing.

Got some sub assemblies built and painted, now to see if it can all come together and resemble a truck chassis.

But not tonight as bedtime is calling.

So far so good, still got tanks, front bumper, propshafts, sump guard and a few other bits to fit but all 4 wheels are on the ground so that's good news. :smiling5:
