Ever since I was a teenager I have wanted to make this scene and fifty years later I have finally done it!
The build thread is HERE for those who missed it

Brilliant work Neil, I look up to anyone that can paint figures and animals so well :thumb2:

OMG!! Outstanding. So much like the painting. You must be so pleased with how it has turned out. Its been an honour watching this project come together.

Hi Neil
Awesome. That is an incredible model. As Steve says it is so like the picture. I enjoyed following the build.
Well done indeed.

As I said in the build section Neil...what a fantastic finish. Well done. You deserve more even though it's too bad for us modelers we don't have the bevy of beauties, champagne and a pedestal with a medal ceremony at the finish line but the feeling is still something else.

Glad to have seen it through from the very beginning and what a task it looked like at the time but you've done it. :thumb2::thumb2::thumb2:

Cheers,
Richard

That is spectacularly good.
Very well done Mr. Merryweather Sir. A most entertaining build thread as well. The work and effort that has gone into this excellent piece is evident in the end result.

Wow! thankyou everyone for the fantastic comments! I'm quite blown away.
I thoroughly enjoyed doing it and blogging it, but I think I need something out of the box next, and with a quicker result!
It's the great thing about the forum, knowing that the people who give compliments understand what actually goes into a build.
Thanks again guys
Neil
