So here it is, Airfix Mig15 in Chinese Airforce colours vs a Heller F86F in 72nd. Base was made from perspex and styrene sheet.
The map was piercing sawed out of 2mm styrene sheet.


Then textured and painted. Aircraft are mounted on perspex rods, with map & aircraft mounted to a 14mm thick perspex base.

All looks good,but I particularly like the camo on that Mig,the greens blend very nicely
(P.S. we may all be seeing a modern version of that dogfight for real soon!!)
