Hi all

So this is an unashamed grovel and general beg for someone to take pity on me......:fearful:

I have managed to lose half the wheels for my SdKfz 234 (link HERE). They have not turned up after a thorough search but I have managed to track down a long out of production set of resin wheels (Scalemates link HERE). However, it will cost £16 inc P&P to get them from France, the cost of the actual kit new....assuming of course they will be shipped anytime soon.

I have have thought about casting some spares from resin but have no casting materials and it seems a waste to buy them for such a small project.

So..........and here we go..........would any of you be willing to do it for me, if I mailed you the ones I have left to use to make a mould?

I think it should be straightforward enough to cast the four sets of them in front and back halves (that is how they came on the sprue). Picture of said wheels below.

I would obviously pay all P&P plus a bit on top as a thank you and contribution to your modelling fund and would not be expecting super high quality given that the intended use is for wargaming.

Good luck with your quest Andrew , it’s not something I’ve ever done but I find it fascinating , and I know a few people on here have done similar things in the past . I wouldn’t know where to start or get the stuff from , to make the moulds or the casting resin . Hopefully someone will come to your rescue , cheers tony

Indeed Tony! !! I have looked everywhere both obvious, not obvious and downright daft!! But I have a sneaking suspicion they will turn up just as I put the last coat of varnish on!!!
