While looking though some old files I found this,

A view as you come into Stamford from the south , I noticed I did this in 1969 !

Great drawing John, I have been in Stamford a few times, now I see why your dioramas are so good as you obviously have a feel for architecture.

Fantastic John , get it framed and up on the wall in race towers . I used to love doing pen and ink drawings in art class when i was at school ( who said ’I bet it was with a quill !’ ?!! Bloody cheek !:smiling5:)

That's a beautifully piece of art John. A lot of skill and time to produce a picture like that. Another example of the hidden talents people have. As Tony says - Get it framed and on the wall.

OH YOU YOUNGESTERS you YOU missed the swingin 60's then an the hoar frost on the inside of the windows of the frezzein house an washin in cold water boy did you miss some great times an the cubin missle crisis lol an yes i bet you both were glad you missed them but one thing i really liked was at them times there were so many different aircraft bein inventaded nr every day there was alway different aircraft flyin around my house where i lived near RAF COLTISHALL what excitein times they were apart from the bad stuff above

Thank you all, Christine found it yesterday while looking through some old files . I'd actually forgotten drawing it .
The difference now is very much the same ,of course the road has changed and it's full of traffic !
