This one's been calling me for some time so time to make a start.
So far it's been concentrating on the cockpit no problems encountered. IMG_20210801_143121.jpgIMG_20210801_184700.jpgIMG_20210801_184651.jpgIMG_20210801_184638.jpg

Nice start Peter . They’ve got one at the Yeovilton museum, not far from you….

More work done on the interior not much in the way of work for the sides and top and I have got the first coat of aluminium paint on ready to put everything together. IMG_20210802_145506.jpgIMG_20210802_145456.jpgIMG_20210802_151432.jpg

Coming on nicely Peter. Can't be small at that scale.

Keep up the good work.

I have the fuselage sewn up but it needs a bit of tape to keep it together and I have the undercarriage and wheels attached and the start of the engine. Oh man...all that interior covered up. I felt the same fitting the fuselage together on my 1/72 scale Matchbox kit after scratching the whole interior. :confounded:

Peter, I wonder if Airfix has the engine facing off one or two degrees forward like the real aircraft to counter the torque from the propeller? I thought Matchbox had screwed the molding until my reference showed it to be correct.

Cheers,
Richard

I am afraid that my threads aren't the best because if the kit doesn't give me any problems I tend to wizz through the construction.
But here is the latest it's almost finished I am just awaiting a masking set so I can do the windows. IMG_20210803_110649.jpgIMG_20210803_110642.jpgIMG_20210803_171641.jpgIMG_20210803_171633.jpgIMG_20210803_171647.jpg
