Got this one ‘free’ if I spent over fifty quid on other models from the Airfix website, tried some weathering on this with oils, happy with the results. SMS Paints and the obligatory masks for all that glass!!

Even since reading Arthur Aldridge's account of Beaufort ops in the Med, I keep thinking about getting this kit, even if it doesn't fit with anything else in my stash. This has turned out so well I'm tempted
