Airfix 54mm Napoleonic French Line Infantry

Those are superb Neil. You really have a talent for modifying and painting these figures. So nice to see colour rather than khaki and German grey.

Not to lower the tone too much, but here's the evidence

I accept I MAY have exaggerated things a little...
But then I do have form, I suppose- some of you may remember the horses and the 'Flying Scotsman' in the Scots Greys Charge diorama?
Colorful indeed, Neil.
As I recall, traditional tailoring in those days require to ask if the wearer was a leftee or rightee. :smiling6:

I am pleased to announce that Fusilier 9 is painted and ready for assembly!
And Fusiliers 10 & 11 are both quite close and will follow shortly

PHEW!

Beautiful work Neil!!! I now understand what it takes for you to paint all the tiny details on your fuselages. With my wing thingy, I'm in the same boat. I also understand why #9 is a casualty as anyone would be too, skewered in the gut in a pin vise. Bring on 10 & 11 Sir!!!...

With the marines well underway with their JR flame machines, when are you going to start printing the terrorists with the atomic bombs???...

Are you sure #9 is not Ultraman flying through an asteroid field keeping his hands as close to his body and not hit any? :smiling6:
Flying along well Neil.

Thanks you gentlemen for the great comments.
Here is Fusilier 9 all put together, he just needs a bit of mud & possibly blood, but I'll do all that at the end I think.

Wow Neil, he really does look like a casualty! I love the way you modified his feet to look the part too. It may be a lot of work to make these, but they are well worth it. The poses are so realistic Sir!!!...

Hi Neil, that looks like one good stiff...I mean casualty. As has been said the position of the legs looks real.
