Plenty of times I’ve had that happen. I’ve even seen them stop outside m then drive off without getting out of the van. We tend to get the other problem though, stuff just delivered to random places. Round here people with deliveries coming from EVRI have had it left at field gates…….we had fresh food from a cold chain delivery left in a barn somewhere. Herself had some plants, on priority 24hr delivery, delivered two weeks later that were basically straw when they got here. All of it was easily replaced, but I do wonder how any company that uses EVRI makes a profit. The resupply costs alone must overshadow any savings in carrier fees. Apparently the drivers are exploited to death over workload, and they get paid by delivery, not by time, so don’t bring anything back. We once had a delivery left by the gate at quarter to twelve at night……
