An update on my wife and my lack of posting since today.

So sorry to hear that things have got to this stage. Hopefully the expertise of the care home staff will make things better for you both.
Fully understand that many other things take precidence over the hobby and the forum. Come back when you're able and look after yourself.

There's more important things than bodging plastic, you look after her and make the most of any good times...... You look after yourself too
Call in and say hi every now and then please, just so we know you are ok

Sorry to hear your sad news John.
Hopefully this will give you a bit of respite and allow you to spend more quality time with your wife.
Don’t forget to take care of yourself as well, it’s easy to slip into the habit of ignoring your own needs in these situations.
We’ll all be here if you feel like popping back.

Sorry to hear that bud....
Been through this now twice, with my old Dad and my Father in Law, both ended up in care homes.
Not an easy thing to go through or deal with. Get as much help as you can mate.
And remember to look after yourself too.
