Another one completed, build thread here. Thanks again to Peter for organising this GB, it's turned up some beauties! and thanks to all those that followed along.

I found this to be a very well put together kit. Plenty of detail for its scale, although possibly more parts than needed in some areas. It comes as part of a set which includes the M1000 trailer and the D9R armoured bulldozer built previously here

I managed to lose one of the tiny PE screen wipers along the way but overall I'm happy with the result after some light weathering. It's extremely fragile though, so I'll need to tuck it out of the way before the gaffer tries dusting it! :flushed:

Now that I like a lot Andy. Smaller than I thought even for 1/72. Well done sir, a cracking build.

If I hadn't have seen that paint bottle I could have believed it to 1/35 scale for1/72 scale that is a top job

Wow!!! Now yer talkin'!! Looks fantastic with a Cat on its back! Well done Andy!! :thumb2:

Thanks very much gents. It was a thoroughly enjoyable build so I'm glad you like the finished product.

Now I really must find myself a job as I'm burning through my meagre stash far too quickly and haven't seen much that jumps out at me yet!

I keep drooling over the Border Models Kodiak, but it looks to have some very taxing (for me) PE.

Beautiful.

Now I'm even more tempted to get one, but looking at the size I reckon I'd really struggle with it. Still, if I really get desperate for one, I've got both of these - the M1070 and a D9R - in 35th scale which might give me a better chance (Not that I'd come even close to this good).

Wow Andy, I only nipped to Meadow Hall and when I get back you’ve finished. It looks superb, great job

Thanks again everyone, I'm gobsmacked by your generous comments! It must be the slightly blurry picture's making it look better than it is :smiling5:

Dave - I can't deny there's some very tiny parts to put together. I hate using tweezers but had no choice for some pieces. And I probably spent as much time under the bench as on it, fighting the carpet monster.

Mick - why would you do that to yourself lol? I haven't been to Murderhell in years :smiling3:

Unfortunately it was to get a giant birthday cookie for a grand kid otherwise I wouldn’t be there

Not in my wheelhouse but watched this build and think it looks absolutely real, did not realise how small this was until the image with the paint bottle. Very well done sir.

Top work Andy. That looks great. It was only when I saw it with the Vallejo bottle I realised just how small it was. Exceptional build dude.
