So, easy question.
What was the best model you ever made?

It could be your first, many years ago, a simple affair, or it could be your latest and greatest, made to absolute finite level of realistic detail with every weathering affect imaginable.

For me it was an Airfix Avro Lancaster, quite a big model, think it was about 18" wingspan? I painted it, and I think it was the first model that I painted, sadly no weather effects, and it hung from my bedroom ceiling for many years. I have no photos unfortunately, but it was my favourite for years.
The little gun turrets moved and the undercarriage could be up or down (I think) and the props went round.
I think it was the first model that I really took seriously and tried hard with.

I was about 10 when I built/painted it. :hungry: :thumb2:

Perhaps not my best but the most satisfying builds I ever did. 1-87 scale...as are all my builds. The shovel has not been rigged or weathered yet.P1012941.JPGP1012351.JPGP1012766.JPG

Best one i've ever made? With my continental drift speed of building there aren't many to choose from. But if i'm honest the best i've done is in fact one that is still in progress

... It's a He 219,1/48... I'm not really a plane builder,so this one has been quite satisfying. :)

ICM 1/48 MiG-25 RBT Foxbat B - made in 2018 - still one of the best models I've made - fit, engineering & detail superb, build just tricky enough to keep the interest level high......................

The only thing I added was a pilot - no PE or anything else. Base is ICM 1/48 PAG-14 Airfield Plates

For me it is between two 1/32 Tamiya kits, the Mosquito and Corsair.

The best one is still to come...don't know whats round the corner. Which means everything that I have built thus far has been my favorite. I think its how you approach the build and overcoming the challenges that each has to offer that makes the hobby satisfying.
