This morning was a early start and got a bit done 
When I built plastic models I never really bothered with the rigging doing the bare minimum and saying that will do, if I did the same on this model it would look totally unfinished the difference is massive, just a thought
Asking people in the know how far off finishing do you think I am ? Start August 20th 2024, go on have a guess

I would say at least another 8 months given the level of detail you are adding.
I’d say another year, but it does depend on how many hours you put in a day

I think you are further ahead than you think. A couple of levels more of shrouds, backstays, yards lifts, footropes , signal halliards and tacks and braces. Might sound a lot but should get through it well before Christmas.

Made a start on upper shrouds and pinned the foremast yard in place temporarily.

The kit is short of 3.5mm deadeyes I'm 5 short and I know I won't of lost 5 maybe 1 or 2 but not 5 so I ordered some more should be here Tuesday. Some aspects of this kit is real shoddy especially with it being over £1000 I would expect more!
