This is the Bf 109 E-3 formally flown by Feldwebel ( Sergeant ) Karl Heir

Evaluated at the AAEE Boscombe Down 1941.

Not a bad kit at all the only problem was some of the decals were out of register, mainly the red don't walk lines on the wings.

That looks great Ian. Nice job all round.
Funny I am getting used to seeing a 109 in RAF and I'm thinking it don't look to bad.

Nice one.

Great job ian , especially the always difficult yellow . The 109 looks good in raf colours too cheers tony

I like this a lot Ian. It looks a totally different aircraft with British markings. You may start a trend niw of 109s in British markings.

Nice work on this kit.  There is something strange seeing a 109 in RAF colours.

great work on this Ian,real like the look of the camo and colors, and so hard to use yellow as well,

superb job, :D

Thanks for the great comments guys I'm really glad you all like it.

Nice work Ian. I built this kit from the dogfight doubles boxing. The red wing walk lines on that decal sheet were bad as well!.

Hi Ian!!!

Great job. The "Emil" looks pretty good in british uniform.

Cheers
Stefan :)

Superb work Ian, loved following the build thread as well. Very well done mate.

Found it Ian! ;) Great work, the final product is top quality. Could pass off as a larger scale any day.

Well that looks nice, quite different. Certainly a bit confusing in it's British markings. Great result.

That's a great looking 109 mate. The markings look a bit different but we don't all want the same thing now. Love the yellow underside. A real stand out.

Cheers.
