Good evening all

I hope you are all well?

So as you probably know, I attended the above show today. For our non-UK members, it was held at a small volunteer museum (link) by Coventry airport in the Midlands.

Like most shows this had a competition but of what I call the 'open' variety, in which every model/figure on a club table is part of the show.....no need to specifically submit your application. Personally it's a format I like.

To my complete surprise given the quality of models on display, the two little Jagdpanthers I completed not that long ago got second place in the small armour category!! My first ever prize, not that I enter competitions.

PS I'll try to post some pics at later date.

Wow Andrew!!! New job, new car, and your first gong!!!! I guess it can't get any better than that!!! Congrats, Brother...

Let me be the second to congratulate you Andrew on receiving the gong. Good job.

Well done Andy.

'twas nice to meet up yesterday, had a really great day. I don't know what happened to Pete, but just after we finished lunch, we went off looking for more bargains - turned round - and there he was - gone! Must have got lost in the crowds.

A club exhibitor invited me behind their table to get a better photo, we got talking about classic cars...

Andy, very well done and a deserved gong.
Congratulations andrew , well deserved , cheers tony

Thanks chaps..... Still not quite sure what I did to deserve it as there were far, far better builds on display on the tables.

Our chub secretary won the 1/35 and up class but is of the same opinion as me, that far better builds were on display than his kit. In his case he did something a bit unusual, so perhaps that caught the judges' eye.

Dave - great to meet you and PJ. When I get a bit more time I'll drop you a PM.

Thanks again!

ATB.

Congratulations.

I do like MAM, it's a great little museum. Alas I've not been there since I moved to Wales.
