just finished this Airfix spitfire MkX11 1/48 scale, and what a good kit it is, plenty of detail fits really good, I enjoyed this very much.

I have call this "Duchess he will be back soon" hopefully it tells its own story, have a look and let me know what you think

Very nice - like the windsock and the pilot is very well done! Overall a very engaging and interesting build - 5 stars from me!

my mistake there Ian

here is what I will say I will have to talk to the ground crew, as they left the aircraft as ready to go, can not have them leaving the Ailerons in the wrong position can we !!!

its an honest mistake which I have made

This is awesome! You can't beat a clipped-wing Spit and love the weathering. The dio really sets it off, particularly the way you've off-set the hard standing. 5*****

Hi mike, fantastic build. The base and figures set off the spit beautifully , i particularly like the concrete effect. Im sure the ailerons are a simple fix , its an easy mistake to make , still a 5 star job , cheers tony

I'm not keen on the clipped wing Spitfires, but you've still done a great job here. Weathering is a high light for me.
