Never a good time to see your business go up in smoke, especially in these exceptional times!

Thankfully as the press release says, no one was injured. Hopefully they will be able to get the business operating again soon.

There was a contractor on site that was treated for smoke inhalation, but that was the worst.
And the message from the CEO seems pretty positive considering. Special Hobby are stepping up to do some production but it appears that any of their kits that are based on other manufacturers sprues will be unavailable for a while.

A quote from their CEO on Facebook " The fire destroyed over one million sprues for about 200,000 models. Furthermore, a three-month supply of shipping boxes, the large parcels, various sizes, burned down. The delivery arrived last week. "
There is a long description of what their plans are, but their online shop will be closed for the near future. If you need Eduard models, looks like they'll be in short supply for a considerable time................
