Lady modeller’s-very rare. Maybe models just appeal to the male brain more in most cases.
What hobby do the ladies do, which has little interest for men ?
There's some good lady figure painters on YouTube nearly all fantasy stuff but top draw and I can understand them being interested in that but can see no reason for them liking the usual repetitive stuff ie another spit 109 tiger pz111/1V plus as was pointed out if we could read a knitting pattern we'd all be at it

Just checking the rules Doug, I'll let you knowCan I enter my wife in that?
Great find Andrew, just read some of the other mad things people take up like cycling down that hill . All in all think it's a great thing to read about whacky people enjoying them selves in ridiculous pass times .Going slightly off the original topic....Extreme ironing is definitely a thing..... Came across it in the very late 90s/early 2000s...... Apparently a Brit wanted to go climbing on the local climbing wall but also needed to do ironing......

Do any of us belong to Extreme Modelling !
Well mmmm no , sorry however should this occur with you standing on a one leg blindfolded then yes .Sometimes I don't stir the paint quite as much as I should, I occasionally have a sniff of Revell contacta because it has a pleasing aroma and, I have been know not to replace the little lid thing that goes on the top of my Xacto knife!
Does that count?

makes perfect sense to me. I mean do we REALLY expect them to be interested in ww2 panzers ?Since the Fantasy category was added to the Penang show there was a sudden influx of female modellers. I guess it's the genre that appeals to them.

Remember to smile and nod in all the right places...My wife is into aviation stuff and has bought a 1:144 sale tornado to have a go with, so hopefully!
Well don't send for us to come rescue you when your fingers are all tied in knots...I might take up knitting.
