Hi ,after an absence due to some real life mojo killing issues im glad to say it has returned , so sorry to those who thought they had got rid of me for good:tongue-out3::smiling6:
Anyway, this is as finished as its gonna get ,its been stuck on the bench forever and i wanna move on to new things.
21.7ltr Fiat mefistofele, built as a one off for an attempt at the land speed record.
12th july 1924 it broke the world record with a top speed of 146.01 mph.
Needless to say this wont be winning any prizes but it was something different and not a terrible kit.

Superb piece of modelling, the double distributor wiring and all the plumbing look challenging. The wood fi is is really convincing.

Lovely model! Must have been a nutter very brave man to drive this beast - minimal brakes, farm cart suspension - and no seat belts!

Thanks jim, i probably wouldnt have bought this but i found it at a price i couldnt say no to. It has great potential if you like a bit of scratch building.
