That kit has got to be 25 years old. Interesting to see how you get on.

How nice of Revell to give you all that spare plastic.

Its a nice kit paul once youve cleaned the flash off. Just a couple of areas to watch out for - be very careful cutting the engine fan off the sprue , the blades are very fragile , and watch out removing the nose ring section , the sprue gates overlap onto the front surface and its a careful clean up . The cockpit is quite good but you dont get the option to have an open canopy as the rear sliding section is moulded as part of the fuselage. When I did mine I cut this off and used a spare Airfix canopy . Whatever I’m sure it’ll be a great build , cheers tony

Definitely an oldie 🤞 it’s a golden one for you 😉

Good luck with your build.

Geoff.

Sorry guys but im going to have to withdraw from the GB

Im out of my comfort zone as it is but so many things going wrong that ive lost all enthusiasm for it.......carpet monster has been well fed.....i got the masking a little wrong and cant correct it.....paint has peeled off when i took off the tape too......and i know if i try to carry on and force the enthusiasm i will make a bigger mess of it

But i look forward to watching the rest of you doing 190s

Bad luck Paul. But we've all been there, and doubtless will be again at some point. Hope you get better luck on your next project.

Nick
