Got the bug

We are currently in the Loire Valley France - just caught this one in the kitchen ! - Not your usual wasp or hornet ... Cant find it on the net anywhere ! Any ideas ? ( I did let it go - not a hater of any, other than Asian Hornets )

Yum Yum, Hornet under glass. Now there is a delicacy! Would one serve a red or white wine with that? Cheers, Rick H.
 
A little something that had attached itself to my car passenger side window I did get much time for a decent shot good job I did as it was gone within a few minutes.

This beautiful Dragon Fly payed us a visit back in 2011. It was a good 4" long. I've forgotten what type.

Looks like a Southern hawker Ron, great shots by the way, nice depth of field.....
 
Took this the other week while gardening. Found near a Fuchsia plant where this moth feeds.

I'm very impressed with these pictures chaps. I might have to have ago at persuading some wild life to 'strike a pose'.
