That's an idea JimDrinking straws work John. You can cut them in half so get twice as many. Put the straw into the paint and then put you finger over the top to seal the tube. You can then transfer the paint. Keep the straw vertical. OK it is not perfect, you need to have the paint jar as close as possible to the airbrush but it's cheap and it works.
I used to do that Peter, but just wanted to try out using paints to change the overall look .I have a good selection of grasses, ground cover plants, little shrubs, etc now, and I tend to mix and match them, so theres some dark, some light, some medium, etc, seems to look ok. Other than that I just add a few dabs of paint or pigments or a wash, etc as a final touch if they need it.
