Good man! I did a fair chunk of mine on night shifts monitoring fermenter growth conditions at work.I did most of an OU degree while covering the UK as a sales engineer. Room to myself, no distractions, ideal for writing essays or studying textbooks.

Worth looking up his layout Peter. He was the buildings man, and it’s pretty damn good.I usually take sone sculpting stuff - usually a few tools and some putty to work on s head or two. Tina takes some sewing or needlework a well.
i read a few years ago that Rod Stewart used to make buildings for his model railway while on tour; he apparently he often used to book an extra room just for his modelling when not on stsge!

You are right ; really high quality stuff. I rememberr it being featured in a Model Railway mag and hitting the mainstream news. apparently he moved it from his LA home to the UK, it took 3 months and a couple of large containers to bring it over.Worth looking up his layout Peter. He was the buildings man, and it’s pretty damn good.
I've actually found I sleep better if I don't drink while away, just plenty of water. I normally try to get a walk in too but we took another engineers car down so I didn't have a coat with me, I'm driving next week though.Hmmmm.....
