discussion How do we manage to lose large parts ?

Well , having made up and painted a seat for a 1/12th scale Italeri Bugatti a little while ago, yesterday I could not find the pesky thing to do a trial fit into the bodywork. How I managed to mis lay it is a mystery right now having looked in what I thought all the obvious places I might have put it.
I mean, it's not the sort of tiny thing that pings out of a pair of tweezers into oblivion is it ?

I once lost my dad's car. Many, many years ago I borrowed my dad's car to take my then girl friend for a day out in York. Parked the car and did all the sites of the city. Time to go - couldn't remember which carpark the car was in! Just knew you could see the city walls from the CP. Not helpful really. Found the car in the third CP we looked in. Needless to say the girlfriend wasn't impressed and didn't last long.
