Great job laurie , it looks perfect on the apron with the others . Its a good kit for its age , i keep getting tempted by the Valom 1/48 Islander , i bet its a nice size . Cheers tony

Looks great to me Laurie. I remember this being a really modern hi-tech kit when first issued....

All good stuff Laurie........looks like your big BEA transport is parked a little close to the terminal building also :nerd:. Hats off to the ground crew if they can spot one that close to the building without "crunching" an elevator!! Cheers, Rick H.

Oh my goodness me they got closer than that Rick we have good drivers here.

But think more of the hostess next to the Dakota. Fallen from the staircase oh dear what have I done to the poor girl..

But all is OK called the ambulance.

Now in hospital recovering.

Thanks Chris very nice of you to comment.

Yes we came to live here just for one year 1962. Wow must be good here. still here with 4 children & 4 grandsons all Jersey. 59 years.

That is the short type Viscount. Lovely aircraft to traval in very comfortable & nice engine purr.
Vanguard was used must have been a close thing as this was before the runway was extended. Dwarfed all other aircraft on the apron.

A superb result Laurie, loving all the activity on your Jersey airport. Hoping the hostess is feeling better.
